'Laundry to do' was painted by Anna during her residency on King Island. It depicts a feminine figure in a state of boredom but creativity. Anna took inspiration from the Island's vibrant colours and fishing industry juxtaposed with jewels and crowns to create an image of 'non-belonging' and awe. Her use of pattern and colour are elements that excite her but also create disorienting feelings.
