Giant Bird of Paradise

The inspiration behind this painting came from the giant bird of paradise planted in my neighbour's backyard. I admire their enormous leaves, not to mention the exotic flower they produce. The colour combination of green leaves against the salmon-pink background would make any room pop!

I am an artist and illustrator based in Sydney, Australia. Since I can remember, I’ve always wanted to chase my creative dream. My professional career began as a florist some years ago. I then ventured into graphic design and surface pattern design.

Painting is where I find the most joy and calm. My inspiration can come from anywhere, be it flowers, the sea, fashion, or animals, the list is endless. My style is constantly evolving and can sometimes be illustrative or abstract. I predominantly paint in acrylics or watercolours and also enjoy experimenting with other mediums.
