This Wagyu Bull spends his days watching his cows, fighting with other bulls and eating grass. My family are cattle breeders so I get plenty of inspiration from the farm. Bulls, in particular the Wagyu's, have such great shape, lines, contours. Obviously they are black and always dusty which sometimes makes it hard to make these features stand out. I like to introduce lighter shades and some blue tones to highlight their features. The Wagyu is placid in nature and they are a reliable bull which I believe is reflected in this painting.
