This is a tribute to the resilience and ingenuity of my Thracian ancestors who were able to create enduring structures and art with limited technology and resources. Hand painting allowed me to reflect on how I can keep their legacy alive and continue to build on their accomplishments. The colours serve as a connection to their symbolic meanings and their rich cultural significance in ancient times. Finalist at 2023 Doyles Art Award Show.
