I have had a lifelong appreciation for Art, Design and Architecture, but seem to always return to painting for the tactile process and the joy of quiet observation.
Having informally painted on and off for a few years just for enjoyment while doing other things, I am now trying to focus on developing further and spending more time learning and developing as a painter. I enjoy finding small treasures in nature and the everyday and translating them into patterns and visual stories.
I work with acrylics and watercolour using semi-abstracted elements to convey a sense of whimsy and home.
