Artwork Description

A silhouette of a man sitting on the beach watching the sunset. Influenced by the minimalist approach and using silhouettes to define perspective. There is a blur/long exposure, which amplifies the colour.

Artist Statement
I like to explore the natural world. I live on the edge of the Noosa National Park and I am only minutes away from multiple beautiful ocean beaches. My images often have a human silhouette in the photo mainly for perspective, because when it comes to the coastline and the sea, we are just specks in the vast oceans and on the seemingly endless coastal beaches. I like using lines to frame my photos, silhouettes for perspective and I have been experimenting with intentional camera movement, long exposures and macro photography.
