Where Do I Belong?

“Where Do I Belong” explores the notion of tribes/groups for identity, especially those that a young person seeks out to belong to. Making changes to ones own body/face to conform to the rules of the group. This character has tried to belong to so many groups and made the changes so often, she has become a mixture of so many sets of rules. Much like being that confused teenager constantly seeking the approval of others.

I am an Art Teacher and love my job, inspiring kids to discover their inner artist. I have always created art - lots of styles and influences and now I finally have the confidence to present my own art for sale.
It is now my time to further explore my inner artist!
My work has evolved into a few different styles/genres. I have a range of animal studies and take commissions for pet portraits and I also have a range that centres upon an image that is very naive art style involving the fluidity of line to enhance the composition. Exploration of texture, colour and line are my trademarks. I hope you enjoy viewing my work and can find something that suits your home or as a gift for someone else.
