Remnant III is the third of a series of original paintings. 32 x 79cm (unframed). This abstract painting on paper alludes to the organic and tactile surfaces that surround us in nature. Layers of water-based mediums intermingle in a playful tangle of texture and line. There are five of these paintings all of the same size that would look fabulous hung together or purchased as two, three or more. This painting reveals something new to me each time I look at it and encourages a quite, contemplative way of viewing. I hope you enjoy viewing it also.
