This is the fourth image in my “Remnant" series of paintings. Themes of both resilience and transience of life, both metaphysical and physical. What we see is gathered and layered in memories, some clear and others barely there. In Transient IV organic and geometric form mingle and entwine and nothing is fixed but in a state of subtle flux. There is a sense of coming together and pushing apart, or exploding and reconnecting. This painting reveals something new to me each time I look at it and encourages a quite, contemplative way of viewing. I hope you enjoy viewing it also.
