Cows

I absolutely love cows! When I was an art student my friends and I used to sketch in the fields near my Auntie's farm and the curious cows would creep up on us and watch us. This is from a photo I took in Wales on holiday.

I trained at Gloucestershire College of Art and The University of Wales where I obtained my Art Teachers degree. Upon graduation I taught high school for five years in the UK before leaving to have my two sons. In 1972 we came to live in Sydney. I then taught juniors part time for a total of thirty-two years before retiring. After doing the family’s ancestry and writing my memoir, Covid-19 gave me the perfect opportunity to rediscover my love of painting. I take my inspiration from travel and nature and like to paint people, things from nature and still life. My preferred medium is oil and collage.
