It is so true sometimes that you get so caught up in the details, you forget to look at the bigger picture. These days I’m sitting at home a lot more and inevitably, I start to notice things that need repairing, dusting, repainting, weeding, mowing, washing, or cleaning. I get bogged down in the chores and the everyday mundane. If I stood back a bit, I would see how lucky I am to have a sweet little home, to have happy children making the mess, a lush garden that looks so peaceful when the lawns are mown and the weeds are gone. A kitchen to cook delicious meals and a sturdy roof to shield the storms. What a difference perspective makes. If you can’t see the forest for the trees, its time to get a higher vantage point.
