This work is about our hereditary bloodlines and the gene mutations we can carry, that may affect our future generations. I am of Eastern European heritage, and this is my personal visual language of colour and symbols representing the haemochromatosis gene mutation I carry, knowing that it can be passed on to my children and their children. To me colours, symbols and shapes can convey strong emotions.
