Artwork Description

This gorgeous quite spot is so secluded and to me felt like a secret haven in the garden.
I've use mostly transparent colours through this painting and love the depth I've achieve throughout. The azaleas I have painted a blue under the pink which gives an aura to the flower. Once i applied the light the whole painting came alive. I hope you enjoy this as much as I enjoyed painting it

I am a traditional landscape artist based in the foothills of the Blue Mountains, NSW.
I began my journey by seeking expert tuition from multiple accomplished artist.
I have developed my own unique style over the years, predominantly applying my oils with a pallet knife and moving it around with knife and brush to create the effect, movement and feeling in my painting that will transport the viewer to that time and place.
Predominantly, a studio painter, I source images from my travels throughout Australia, recreating them in oils and acrylics on canvas. I also love painting en plein air whenever possible.
I have had a number of solo shows and have enjoyed creating commission works plus my work is on show and for sale in several galleries in NSW.
My aim is to bring the beauty of Australia into your homes. With a feeling of piece and serenity
