Artwork Description

This artwork is inspired by our vast country.
The head of the Bite is an isolated spot with a beauty that I needed to capture. When I painted this in my studio. It is like I'm there breathing the air and feeling the strength of the water.
I love painting in oils, with their strong vibrant colors it makes it easy to capture what I remember. They are great to manipulate with pallet knife and brushes and I'm able to get depth into my paintings

Artist Bio

I am a traditional landscape artist based in the foothills of the Blue Mountains, NSW.
I began my journey by seeking expert tuition from multiple accomplished artist.
I have developed my own unique style over the years, predominantly applying my oils with a pallet knife and moving it around with knife and brush to create the effect, movement and feeling in my painting that will transport the viewer to that time and place.
Predominantly, a studio painter, I source images from my travels throughout Australia, recreating them in oils and acrylics on canvas. I also love painting en plein air whenever possible.
I have had a number of solo shows and have enjoyed creating commission works plus my work is on show and for sale in several galleries in NSW.
My aim is to bring the beauty of Australia into your homes. With a feeling of piece and serenity
