Artwork Description

Sky's are threatening, tides are flowing,
Seals are frolicking, storms unfolding.

The river's stretch this way and that,
Its endlessly twisting and turning,
Beautiful marshes and sandy banks,
With waters hardly churning,

The day is near its end,
and it makes its last attempt
To show us that is not over,
She's not done yet.

Looking down over the lakes,
My heart is like an eagle,
And now I know how that bird feels,
When she's soaring so regal

I am a traditional landscape artist based in the foothills of the Blue Mountains, NSW.
I began my journey by seeking expert tuition from multiple accomplished artist.
I have developed my own unique style over the years, predominantly applying my oils with a pallet knife and moving it around with knife and brush to create the effect, movement and feeling in my painting that will transport the viewer to that time and place.
Predominantly, a studio painter, I source images from my travels throughout Australia, recreating them in oils and acrylics on canvas. I also love painting en plein air whenever possible.
I have had a number of solo shows and have enjoyed creating commission works plus my work is on show and for sale in several galleries in NSW.
My aim is to bring the beauty of Australia into your homes. With a feeling of piece and serenity
