Rugged Coast

I've called this little painting Rugged coast. Although small this 20 x 20cm oil painting is jammed packed with loads of movement. Starting with the sky as those clouds roll across, down to the ocean as the gentle waves rolling in and I can't leave out those shear cliffs leading strait into the shore line.
Perfect to fill that small space.

I am a traditional landscape artist based in the foothills of the Blue Mountains, NSW.
I began my journey by seeking expert tuition from multiple accomplished artist.
I have developed my own unique style over the years, predominantly applying my oils with a pallet knife and moving it around with knife and brush to create the effect, movement and feeling in my painting that will transport the viewer to that time and place.
Predominantly, a studio painter, I source images from my travels throughout Australia, recreating them in oils and acrylics on canvas. I also love painting en plein air whenever possible.
I have had a number of solo shows and have enjoyed creating commission works plus my work is on show and for sale in several galleries in NSW.
My aim is to bring the beauty of Australia into your homes. With a feeling of piece and serenity
