Artwork Description

Windsor Bridge, forever changed

What a spot to through a line,
and families come and sit.
With the old historic Windsor Bridge,
Settled across our Hawkesbury width.

This sight is now forever changed,
as progress takes a hold.
And even with the constant cries to stop,
They were told.

No!this bridge does flood a lot.
No! They do not stand a chance.
Progress is the way it will go
It doesn't mattwr how much they dance.

So, I've captured this little bridge of our,
A scene that is no more.
To remind us of what was,
And what went before

Artist Bio

I am a traditional landscape artist based in the foothills of the Blue Mountains, NSW.
I began my journey by seeking expert tuition from multiple accomplished artist.
I have developed my own unique style over the years, predominantly applying my oils with a pallet knife and moving it around with knife and brush to create the effect, movement and feeling in my painting that will transport the viewer to that time and place.
Predominantly, a studio painter, I source images from my travels throughout Australia, recreating them in oils and acrylics on canvas. I also love painting en plein air whenever possible.
I have had a number of solo shows and have enjoyed creating commission works plus my work is on show and for sale in several galleries in NSW.
My aim is to bring the beauty of Australia into your homes. With a feeling of piece and serenity
