Up for grabs is one of my latest vibrant abstract paintings.
The work is made intuitively with highly fluid paint. By using the power of gravity and serendipity I create interesting and evocative patterns on the canvas.
To me this work evokes 1960s Abstract Expressionism with the bold colours and visceral application of paint.
The paint is applied carefully in multiple layers of transparent colour, creating a sense of depth.
