Artwork Description

The title "Mount Analogue" refers to the mythical mountain in Rene Daumal's mystical (and unfinished) novel "Mount Analogue: a Novel of Symbolically Authentic Non-Euclidean Adventures in Mountain Climbing." The landscape itself features a vista from Lennox Head, New South Wales.

Artist Bio

Anthony’s Wright's has been exhibited with solo shows at The Sporting Club in Melbourne (2004) and Guru Gallery in Mexico City (2014). Group exhibitions include iPop: A Survey of Contemporary Global Pop at Art Murmur Gallery in Los Angeles (2005) and Listo Para Colgar at Kong Gallery in Mexico City (2006). His photography was featured in Sensacional de Diseño Mexicano (Trilce Ediciones, 2003) and the accompanying exhibition at the National Design Center of the American Institute of Graphic Arts in New York (2004). More recently, he has exhibited paintings at Fremantle’s National Hotel Staircase Gallery and was a finalist in the Rockingham Art Prize (2023).
