I am an emerging artist who is developing a technique I learnt a few years ago and I love it. The bold, bright colours, textures and different layers of nature, give me inspiration getting my creative ideas flowing. Nature's beauty is amazing at each turn, it's hard to take your eyes off her. I would like to think I was a somewhat disciplined and structured artist using texture paste to capture shape forms to give my subjects more definition. But, when it comes to colour, I let all that discipline go. Once I start applying the bright bold acrylic paint and Ink, brushing, spraying it over my textured subjects I really get excited when my paints and inks blend together giving that unexpected array of colours.
I hope you enjoy seeing my work, though I haven't loaded up many as yet. I'm working on some new paintings, so watch this space.
