Inspired by a delicate French vintage silver dessert server,
the work celebrates a love of good food and travels in France with fragments of old Michelin maps of the Strasbourg region, classical sheet music and old dressmaking patterns

It has a classical style with a a contemporary twist, with an interesting shadow to define the object and stencilled patterns.

With the artwork extending around the edges, there is no need for framing.
The work is neatly fitted with a coated wide and ID card with serial code

Antoinette is a multi-disciplinary artist living and working in Canberra, Australia.
She grew up in South Africa and her work is inspired by themes of travel, heritage and faith.
Their annual explorations of France provide wonderful inspiration for her French vintage style work.

She has exhibited widely in ACT and interstate, and have done artist residencies in ACT and Tasmania.

Her work often features subtle layers of old maps, sheet music and dressmaking patterns,
referring to curiosity, passed-on skills and resourcefulness.
