Artwork Description

A domestic vignette.
A selection of sentimental objects…a lovely birdy tea towel from a dear friend, a brioche mould from a vintage tool store in Melbourne and a set of delicate forks, inherited crochet tablecloth. So many roads lead to where we are now.
If we are lucky, we might even make it to Paris.

This painting combines nostalgic elements with contemporary techniques.
Delicate crochet work, layered maps and music provide a subtle treasure-hunt of interest
