Many of my paintings come to me with stories or thoughts and "Boxes" is one of them. The boxes are dull, bright, perfect, chipped, whole or fragmented but, they come together to create a balanced composition.

I have always envisioned this painting by a window, encased in a simple, slender frame , on a wall painted in a cool tone.
