Art has never been on my radar. I’ve never thought of myself to be the creative type but now all I want to do is create!
It was at the start of Melbourne’s second lock-down that I decided I needed an outlet. Before Covid-19 it was easy to switch off from my job as an Emergency Nurse, however during a pandemic and as it became more intense, it was getting more difficult to wind down.
At first my interest in Acrylic Pouring went as far as watching videos online but after a while I finally decided to have a go myself.
It hasn’t been easy, I’ve gone through litres and litres of mediums practising with no real outcome but as they say, practice makes perfect! I’m now making art I am confident to share and art that I am proud of.
