Artwork Description

ABOVE series titled Ray waves

Bold colours of the aboriginal flag
Land, sun and our skin
This piece is a representation of the the beautiful Kimberly sun rays touching the and reflecting its energy upon the vast landscape.
With the three simple colours I've used it can be a statement piece in any area you'll add to it.
All the stories I could tell, about memory the sunsets carry.

I suggest purchasing one of these to hang the artwork. they come in both black, the classic natural wood and white.

Artist Bio

My name is Marangah or Aretha Hill. I am from Djugun, Jubbirr Jubbirr, Gooniyandi land located in the Kimberly’s Broome and Fitzroy Crossing area.

As a child growing up in the Kimberly, there was never a dull moment but the older I get like most things those joyous moments become lost. As I've been trying to reconnect and align myself with my Country...memories have been flooding me, memories of landscapes and stories of my adventures as a young child through to my teenage years exploring my country, I have used these memories to create these pieces.
