Self taught in Asolo Italy in the early years with supervision and advice from established artists living in that beautiful old hill town not far from Venice.
He was strongly influenced by the impressionism masters after receiving a large set by his mother as a present in his youth.
he produced around 20 paintings with 2 of them going oversea before turning 20 using mainly tempera and then oil on board.
He moved to Sydney at 25 with his new australian wife got very busy with his business but started drawing again in mixed media and had had his first of 4 exhibitions when he turned 50 after frequenting an artists circle in centre Sydney who strongly encouraged him to exhibit in a gallery.
All 4 exhibitions were quite successful selling more than half of the works on the opening night.
He loved surrealism & cubism from young age and followed that path most of the time exploring futurism & abstract expressionism as well.
He shared studios with Vince Vozzo, Francesco Petrolo, Martin Sharp and others.
Now that he has hit 70 he's preparing to put together works for the next exhibition and have started doing new sketches, studios & drawing towards that exciting new chapter.
