District Council of Victor Harbor Art Prize winner and a several other awards winning artist Arthur Avetisian paints in a figurative manner‚ shifting sometimes to more emotional abstract painting‚ exploring complex colour schemes and shapes. Most of his paintings are developed from the ideas and sketches created during work as a graphic designer/illustrator and visual art/design teacher. He is constantly drawing and often drawings evolve into more in-depth concepts and detailed paintings.
