It was a privilege to be a part of the 100 Barossa Artists exhibition for SALA 2020. The organisers set our to discover 100 artists in the Barossa and were delighted to discover 120! Each of these artists produced a self portrait to be displayed in the exhibition in Victoria.
Painting a self portrait took me outside of my comfort zone, but it was an enjoyable challenge. I enjoyed using a tonal switch, painting using a pallet and gold paint, I have incorporated all 3 in this piece, simply titled ‘Self Portrait’… a moment in time.
