George lives life with one aim: disrupt the status quo to ensure everyone is heard. In the traditional mining town of Kalgoorlie-Boulder, George has been active in ensuring inclusivity for all, encouraging people to see the big thinking leaders, giving them a platform higher than outdated conservatives. George is proudly queer, loud and strong, with a hope that they can inspire future youth to live openly and achieve big things.
As WA Young Australian of the Year Finalist, and through their involvement in local organisations, George is instrumental in promoting equality and encouraging civic responsibility and community contribution. George inspires people to be progressive, strong, articulate and intelligent. In George’s words “I refuse to leave Kalgoorlie as I found it”.
