Sunflower Impression

I painted onto an upside down flower painting that wasn't working and left parts of the original patterns evident in the design so it looked like I painted over graffiti.

I paint in a modern contemporary style and try to capture the movement in the subject with fluid brush strokes. The moody, brooding atmosphere that comes with using dusty colours help make the paintings not about the subject matter but about the evocative feelings.
