My art pieces are using watercolor, mix media. I always had an eye for color, form and have applied my talents to garden design, quilting, patchwork and more in the past. More recently I have stepped up into the realm of visual art with ever increasing success as my skills and passion grow . My work has been exhibited in a number of regional art shows , where regularly wins prizes. In October 2016, I was a winner of the Warrumbungles Shire Council Acquisitive Award at the Warrumbungles Arts and Craft Exhibition and Expo. The winning piece is "Gum Blossoms" and is exhibited in the Warrumbungles Shire Chambers in Coonabarabran . A current popular theme has been birds including emus with attitude, pelicans, blue wrens and parrots. I manage to capture the very essence of their characters in rich vibrant colors using a variety of media. Flora is another popular theme of flowers and fruit to pop out of the frame as I capture light, color and natural qualities. I live in Ulamambri, a small village east of Coonabarabran. Enjoy travelling and host workshops. Sorry no frame included for easy packaging and no damage . May also prefer your own choice in framing easy.
