I use my digital brush to paint, create marks, layer, break down images, build translucency, light, shadows and depth. My process is as a painter, it takes time, movement and energy. I utilise software as I have freedom and agility to create and develop. My work is inspired from Impressionism and classical methods, however my work is a complete contrast utilising digital methods. During her career, Ash has had successful group exhibitions in New York and Australia as well as Solo Exhibitions. Ash has been the recipient and a finalist of numerous prestigious awards and exhibitions.
The pieces represent ghosts or fragments of objects, however the viewer is never invited to assemble any comparison between an abstract and what is the representational. However just to simply view and let the art completely overtake the psyche and be present in that moment.
