Dahlias of Our Lives

"Like sands of the hourglass, so are the days of our lives." ...did you have any idea this was Socrates?! Or, like me, do you just hear that famous opening to the soapy 'Days of Our Lives'? My mum watched it every day when I was growing up. I'm afraid that intro is permanently embedded into my mind.

You know how when you're a kid, you're often asked what you want to be when you grow up? My answer was always: 'I want to be an artist.' Now that I’m grown up, maybe we can make it happen?!

Within my art practice I favour bright colour and simple compositions, and I'm often influenced by my first love - floristry.
