This is piece is part of my ongoing collection of reimagined pop culture characters within a pop surrealism or low brow style.
The Mario Brothers are both part of my childhood and very much within the current pop culture zeitgeist.
This piece shows a more twisted take on the two brothers deep within a dark underworld.
I still see this as a fun piece even with the dark undertones.

From the age of four, art has been a constant thread in my life—starting with doodles on any surface I could find and growing into a lifelong passion. Throughout primary and high school, I immersed myself in creative pursuits, contributing to school musicals with backdrop designs, crafting educational diagrams, and creating custom drawings for classmates.

I’ve formalized my skills with a Certificate in Visual Arts and a Certificate in Graphic Design, blending traditional techniques with modern design principles. My work has been exhibited in local galleries across Brisbane and South East Queensland, and I’ve had the privilege of creating commissioned pieces and selling artworks through private sales.

Each piece I create is rooted in a love for storytelling through visual expression, shaped by years of hands-on experience and community involvement.
