DESCRIPTION

This art piece is inspired by the Crimson Rosella. I, like so many, am absolutely amused by the beautiful variety of birds found in Australia. I’ve been demonstrating more action and movement in my paintings lately as I want to express what it feels like to see life in motion- with emotion.

I’ve made up my own unique paint brushing effect to work in the charcoal, which results in a smooth finish on paper and canvas. I then let the emotions run free with expressive splashes and resin-like mixes of paint. This large piece is ready to hang and sealed with high quality fixatives.
