Part of my Map series this work depicts the ancient Greek City of Histria. Histria or Istros, was a Greek colony or polis near the mouths of the Danube, on the western coast of the Black Sea.
Acrylic on canvas, Ultramarine blue background with white line work. Pattern is not fully painted to the edges of the canvas. The edges of the painting are painted blue. Comes with a wire across the back and D-Rings, ready to hang.
