Artwork Description

A lone skier carves through a snow-covered slope, surrounded by the quiet beauty of fresh powder and mountain air. Built with layers of rich texture, the painting captures the movement, freedom, and focus of a solitary run.

The sculptural white surface evokes the contours of snowy terrain, while the vibrant skier and bright course markers provide contrast and energy. Ski Solo celebrates those peaceful moments on the mountain when the only sound is the rhythm of skis gliding across the snow.

Artist Bio

My Art is a reflection of people, places and experiences that bring me JOY. It’s about the things we do, objects we use and emotions we feel.

My paintings are my way of communicating with the observer about things of everyday life we all have in common and the importance of being in the moment.

Most of my paintings are highly textured. I use my self developed mixed medium style to create paintings that are almost sculptural. On each artwork, there are often several layers of paint and mediums and I paint with oil to finish it off.

My aim is to keep my art joyful, simple and understandable so people can connect to and enjoy hanging them on their walls at home. To be hung in someone’s home is a privilege, something I find a lot of satisfaction in.

Thank you for visiting and I believe my art brings you joy and happiness as that’s my one and only goal.
