Artwork Description

Step into three portals of imagination in this set of surreal landscapes by Atlas Thorn. Painted in luminous oil tones, each scene reveals a different realm of wonder, from ancient stone monoliths rising by a tranquil shore, to a mountain arch framing a cascading waterfall, to a moonlit tree twisting toward a star-strewn sky.

Together, these paintings form a journey through time, nature, and dream. The vibrant colors and soft light invite viewers to wander within each world, to find serenity, mystery, and a touch of magic in the details.

Each piece is presented in a handcrafted Mulbury frame made from reclaimed Australian wood, enhancing the organic warmth and timeless beauty of the collection.

Perfect for collectors of surreal, fantastical, or nature-inspired art, these works harmonize beautifully when displayed as a trio.

Artist Bio

My name is Atlas, and I live and paint in the Blue Mountains . Every day, I’m surrounded by wild cliffs, shifting mists, and the quiet hum of waterfalls. It's an ever-changing landscape that fuels my imagination. The natural beauty here feels ancient and alive, and it’s this presence that finds its way into my paintings.

Working primarily in oil paint, I try to uncover the hidden magic within the world around me. To bring out the magic, surreal, and whimsical qualities that often go unnoticed. Whether it’s an animal caught in a moment of wonder or a landscape that feels touched by dreams, my work is a celebration of nature’s spirit, seen through a lens of curiosity and reverence. I hope that when people look at my art, they feel that same quiet sense of enchantment I do when I step outside and watch the mountains breathe.
