Copper Magma

This artwork was inspired by the movement and textures of molten rocks and oceans, with a colour palette of metallic acrylics (gold, silver, copper and rose gold) as well as white, which creates texture similar to white caps on waves. The interactions between densities of paint create cells (circular gaps through to colours underneath) which flow along the canvas with the paint. This artwork is on a stretched, deep edge canvas (40x30x3.5cm). Please note, this artwork is unframed and suitable to be displayed this way, the addition of a frame is optional.

Hello, thank you for taking the time to look at my artwork.
My art draws inspiration from themes of aquatic ecosystems, geology, landscapes and night skies, aiming to capture their dynamic nature and texture through the movement created by fluid acrylics. Every piece is entirely unique, with features determined by harnessing the natural flow of the paint as well as the interactions between paints, oil and a blowtorch.
