This painting is part of a series painted in resposne to Australia's 2019/2020 bushfire crisis. This work was begun during the peak of the Summer's bushfire crisis. It reflects a collective sense of anxiety and distress, but combined with solidarity and unity, in a way which I hope offered insight into the unique sense of community Australians are capable of in certain times of need.

Artwork Description
Artist Bio
Iβm interested in all things pattern and colour. I take inspiration from the colourful patterns I find around me, both organic and inorganic, from graffiti to human faces to the beaches and rainforest I grew up around in Wollongong on NSW's South Coast.
