The first piece in the Austin Flower's collection, this work was inspired by my Baba's kitchen in country Victoria. Having moved over from Macedonia in the early 60's, the Saxa salt shaker was a staple item in my Baba's kitchen, always sitting on top of the apricot bench top, next to the lace curtains, and in between a bottle of white vinegar and a jar of pickled pepper.
