Artwork Description

Artwork Statement-Landscape series

The Landscape Series began during the COVID-19 lockdowns, when movement was limited and the outside world could only be reached through a screen. Traveling virtually through Google Maps, I collected fragments of distant streets and towns, reimagining them through memory, emotion, and color. Each painting captures a sense of connection and distance—quiet streets lined with houses that seem close, yet untouched.

Visually, the series draws inspiration from the luminous structure of stained glass. Clear lines separate bold areas of color, simplifying the scene while preserving its rhythm and light. This interplay of contour and hue transforms ordinary suburban landscapes into spaces of reflection and calm.

Through this process, I found beauty in stillness and resilience in isolation. The paintings remind us that even when we are apart, we remain connected through shared light, memory, and the quiet hope of another tomorrow.

Artist Bio

my Light series, where the focus is not only on visual beauty but also on spiritual meaning. Plant-like forms are painted with soft layers that flow into one another, using tones of blue, green, and violet to create an atmosphere that feels both calm and alive. The shapes are not rigid; they shift like light on water or images half-remembered, suggesting how nature is always moving, always transforming.

Beyond its surface, the work carries a deeper purpose. I hopes that a collector who lives with this painting will find comfort and inspiration each day. It is not just something to look at, but something to live with—a companion that reminds us of renewal, resilience, and harmony.

In the vision of the Light series, the image also holds meaning for the final journey of life. On the last day, when one prepares to leave this world, I imagines this painting appearing in the eyes of the beholder, as if the light within it could guide them into another world. In this way, the work becomes a lasting presence—gentle, hopeful, and eternal.
