Artwork Description

This painting is inspired by the traditional village of Abyaneh in Iran, known for its rich cultural heritage and distinctive red-earth architecture.

Created using gouache, the artwork captures a quiet, intimate moment between a mother and children dressed in traditional clothing. The soft tones and warm palette reflect a sense of nostalgia, simplicity, and connection to heritage.

My work is deeply influenced by Iranian culture, especially the beauty of everyday life, traditional attire, and human emotion. Through this piece, I wanted to preserve a timeless memory of childhood, family, and identity.

The delicate brushwork and layered gouache technique create a painterly texture, giving the artwork a soft yet expressive presence.
