Artist Bio

Aziz Al Rassam is a multi-talented visual artist who trained at the Institute of Fine Arts and has spent years honing his craft through practice and experimentation. He worked as a designer at Dar Al Turath Al Sha'abi (House of Folklore Heritage) in Baghdad, and as a painter in the decor department of radio and television, gaining broad experience in visual language and artistic composition. His style blends classical and contemporary approaches, creating a distinctive visual language that merges realism and expressionism with striking surrealist touches. His paintings emerge from a deep artistic sensibility and confidently mastered technique, offering viewers a simple yet beautiful visual narrative that opens the door to both reflection and imagination. Through every piece, Al Rassam seeks to share an honest story that touches on universal human emotions, delivered in a unique style that carries his personal signature.
