Welcome to my debut collection of Fine Art Prints, A Date with Hope.
This collection represents the last three years of my life as a mature age student, boldly entering the realm of Fine Art! I have drawn inspiration from relationships, motherhood, daily life, the confronting nature of my work with the elderly, and the colour, joy, and movement of my professional career as a Bellydance Artist and Children’s Entertainer.
Many of my compositions start as experiments, exploring medium, texture, colour, and light. From abstract shapes, faces, figures, and stories begin to emerge. The canvas becomes a voice for the subconscious, revealing inner wisdom, and offering solutions to life challenges through a visual narrative. In a world disrupted by chaos, this collection celebrates love, freedom of the spirit, and a journey from darkness to light.
The small selection of landscapes were painted from memory and en plein air. They honour the trees, the wind, and the stars! It's hard to fathom the bounty and generosity of nature. May we continue to fight for her freedom.
A Date with Hope is a dedication to every artist who inspires me, my family, friends, teachers, and all of you who have, and will contribute to the colourful tapestry of my life. May you always be Guided by The Light, and have A Date with Hope!
