Hi I’m Baden Lloyd I have spent most of my life creating and developing art, painting, drawing and pastel works. During this 20 years of experience, I discovered that my artwork just wasn’t quite fulfilling my passion. I started with an old sketch book and transformed my sketches into metal. Using recycled rusty corrugated iron and scrap metal junk from farms and old sheds. I gain inspiration from the recycled metal materials that I have, each item speaks to me and presents itself when it is time for it to be repurposed into a creative artwork. The items I use have a history in them that resonates with different people of all ages for a range of reasons, it could be they remember seeing a similar item on a family property or they used that spanner on an old Holden ute or other farm machinery. Giving each item a new purpose and life journey. There is no better feeling than the knowledge that my art has brightened someone’s day! I believe I can create wonderful artworks to be enjoyed by all generations.
