Kapi (water) is the key life source especially in the desert. People and animals walk everywhere looking to see which rockholes have enough fresh water. The Seven Sisters are shown here as a constellation of rockholes as the rain is falling.
Barbara Derose is an established artist from Kaltukatjara (Docker River). Barbara paints important Tjukurpa (Dreaming) from around the Docker River area, including Seven Sisters and Kunga Kutjara.
