I have been painting with water colours for seven years, taking inspiration from a range of experienced and highly regarded teachers in Australia and the Philippines. I now live back in my home town of Adelaide.
I aim to create paintings that evoke feelings of happiness which I believe to be so important in our current changing world. I often use bright colours and choose compositions that capture the joy of holidays, food, wine and nature. I’m currently experimenting with a freer style of painting on an eisel, allowing the colours to blend, run and dance together.
Behind all my paintings is a process which explores composition, tonal values and colour. While I paint for a hobby, I feel delighted to say I have sold paintings in Australia and internationally. I also love gifting paintings to friends and family for special occasions.
