Mosaic artwork using Italian glass (Smalti) and Tasmanian Stichtite Serpentine pieces adhered to Marmox board (light weight foam reinforced with fibreglass mesh and cement adhesive). Although this work is waterproof the edges are delicate so it is recommended for outdoor hanging only in sheltered areas.

A work that speaks to the beauty and complexity of what lies beneath the surface of something seemingly simple and straight forward. The mosaic medium has been used to express this concept with lines and colours and flow and has a beautiful reflective surface that allows the work to convey different moods as the light upon it changes.
