Shifting Sands

This piece takes me to a rocky coast where there are lots of nooks and crannies to explore. Where the tides change the dynamic and hidden treasures can be found and the water is as warm as the sun.

I find I can look at this painting every day and find some new detail to explore.

After decades of searching, I have finally found a hobby I am passionate about. I dream about it......luckily, in colour.

Fluid art is such a diverse and interesting method of moving paint around that I just can't get enough. The possibilities are endless. It is messy, defies control, and so out of my comfort zone that I can hardly recognise myself.

My home in the outer burbs of Melbourne has been transformed. My once empty beige walls are now full of colour. So much so that I need to move some to a new home, hence this page.

I'm trying new methods all the time so watch this space.
